Welcome from our Headteacher
We are a friendly school which provides an excellent education for pupils aged between 11-16 who have a Statement or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for their Special Educational Needs. This includes young people with moderate learning difficulties, communication difficulties and / or autism.
Please see ‘Hampshire’s Local Offer’ for more information on our provision.
Our website gives you all the information that you need on our curriculum, policies and day-to-day events but should you have any questions about Glenwood School then please do get in touch.
Our ethos is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment which prepares young people for the first steps of adult life, both personally and academically.
Please look at our School Aims which details the journey that our pupils take and is encompassed by our School Vision as:
‘Success through Persistence, Inclusion and Equality’
We are a school which understands the importance of the right secondary school placement. These crucial years form the basis for future life choices and happiness. If you would like to explore whether our school, Glenwood, is the right place for your child, then you are very welcome to phone for a chat or come in and have a look around.
