Lunchtimes
The majority of pupils are transported to and from school and so are not allowed off site at lunchtimes. The exception to this rule are those pupils in Year 11, with the written permission of parents, who will be allowed to go off site providing they return promptly for the start of afternoon school. This consent can be removed if the privilege is abused. Those pupils walking to school can go home to lunch provided parents give written permission.

Payment for school lunches can be made at during registration. If possible, full payment at the start of the week would be greatly appreciated. A school packed lunch is available for pupils on the request of parents. The application form for free school meals is available from the school office. 

We request that packed lunches from home do not contain glass bottles or thermos flasks. Drinks should be supplied in screw top plastic or ‘unbreakable’ bottles. 

Lunchtime is seen as an important social occasion within the school day and we emphasise appropriate manners and behaviour at all times within the dining room.
